Tip#1254: The Recipe For Resilience, Part 60 – Chef

This is Day 494 of the COVID-19 pandemic here in Toronto, Canada.

I've been really enjoying designing new graphics for my Food Influencer career! These show examples of what I can do with social media posts on Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter to attract restaurants and food businesses to my services. I also had a fantastic coaching session via Zoom reuniting with friends and career coaches Day Merrill and Michael Locey of 2BDetermined

They provided many tips and leads and encouragement for growing my Influencer initiative. And they especially helped me refocus my mindset on words I choose to say to reinforce my present reality with the brighter future I want!

The very next day more motivation came as I reconnected with another friend and Transformational & Accountability Coach, Patrick Bizindavyi, of Unleashed Possibilities. It was a social visit and yet he gave me so many tips and shared many inspirational stories to support me as a Food Influencer!

All these recent reunions reminded me of the very fast support the movie hero experienced in the film Chef. When he found the courage to follow his passion he instantly magnetized all the help he needed!

Chef (2014)

The comedy drama film, Chef, is about Head Chef Carl Casper (Jon Favreau) who quits his restaurant job and buys a food truck in an effort to free his creative passion for food. This highly entertaining movie is filled with delicious foodie scenes, heartwarming moments and funny performances. Co-starring Sofía Vergara, John Leguizamo, Scarlett Johansson, Emjay Anthony, Oliver Platt, Bobby Cannavale, Dustin Hoffman and Robert Downey Jr..

Rewatching this wonderful foodie film was so rejuvenating and inspiring! I loved seeing all the mouth-watering cooking again (especially the grilled cheese sandwich scene) and loved how Carl bonds with his son Percy who joins his food truck adventure across the US. And though Percy was only 10 years old he instantly became the head of marketing because of his excellent skills of posting photos and announcements on Twitter, etc. His social media savvy resulted in huge crowds waiting for their delicious foods at the cities they arrived in and also amazed his proud dad. This is why I highly recommend this film for all foodies as well as business owners for the social media marketing tips!

Following a passion as a career can be exciting and frightening. Just remember that your passion will attract the right people to support your dream. And it could happen fast! So if you need some cinematic motivation let your passion magnetize the perfect film to inspire your courage, resilience and optimism!
