This is Day 580 of the COVID-19 pandemic here in Toronto, Canada.
Autumn is here and I’ve begun to feel the annual, heavy symptoms of seasonal affective disorder (SAD). Thankfully, I continue to practice my daily Qigong exercises (see tip#1265) and Ho’oponopono mantras: I’m sorry, I love you, Please forgive me, Thank you (see tip#1257).
One core theme of Ho’oponopono as a healing/empowerment tool is about taking 100% responsibility for everything that happens in one’s life good and bad. For example whatever problems I’ve experienced, no matter how awful or destructive, is of my own creation consciously or unconsciously. So ultimately it’s about letting go. Letting go of old perceptions, old feelings and old beliefs.
This is why the latest James Bond film that just arrived in theatres was deeply meaningful and synchronistic in my life because it featured all four of the Ho’oponopono mantras: I’m sorry, I love you, Please forgive me, Thank you.
No Time To Die (2021)
The spy, action film, No Time To Die is the fifth and final chapter for Daniel Craig as British MI6 agent James Bond. This thrilling, action packed movie has all the elements of a classic Bond film and also stars Lea Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Christoph Waltz, Rory Kinnear and Ralph Fiennes reprise their roles. New to the series are Rami Malek, Lashana Lynch, Billy Magnussen, Ana de Armas, David Dencik and Dali Benssalah.

Seeing this new Bond film immediately felt emotional because it incorporated many memorable music themes from previous movies over the decades and instantly made me nostalgic for my childhood and my dad who loved the Bond films. And, of course, it featured all the action scenes, cool gadgets, classic cars, Bond girls and global traveling we all love and expect!
What touched me the most were the heartfelt scenes showing forgiveness and letting go. This is a new side of Bond that we see and also shows how powerful love and gratitude has helped this iconic character grow. It’s a form of self-love that was deeply moving to see in this final chapter starring Daniel Craig.
Letting go can be difficult and painful whether it's a loved one that hurt us or old beliefs and thinking that have become destructive in our lives. Thankfully we have movie heroes that demonstrate the courage and self-love needed to move forward. They inspire us to do what it takes to let go of the past. Find a film and a movie hero today to ignite your inner strengths!
