One of the joys I have conducting my Sizzle Factor Assessment with clients is witnessing them light up when remembering long forgotten achievements. This assessment I created helps individuals re-connect with their greatness and helps them move forward with career and business goals with confidence! Taking inventory of your achievements can re-energize your drive because it reminds you of your overflowing value.
I am writing a new business bio for my friend and business coach Patrick Bizindavyi and we did a Sizzle Factor Assessment. He was amazed to remember many achievements he had accomplished while in his home in Burundi like being a top radio show broadcaster and winning 15 trophies as a basketball coach for youths. I saw Patrick light up and he was recognizing the scope of his own greatness and value to others.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012)
The epic fantasy adventure film, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is the first of a three-part series taking place prior to The Lord of the Rings film trilogy and follows the adventures of a younger Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman). In this chapter Bilbo is convinced by the wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen) to join 13 dwarves to reclaim their home conquered by Smaug the dragon. Though this is a long film it is filled with fantastic scenery, stunning visual effects and colourful characters in every frame. See: movie trailer
At first the dwarves question Bilbo’s abilities and skills especially their leader Thorin (Richard Armitage). But with each adversity they all face Bilbo proves his worth and talents in some way helping them to move forward. Eventually Bilbo’s achievements add up giving himself more confidence AND heartfelt acknowledgement and gratitude from Thorin and the group.
Whenever you feel stuck in your life or career it may be time to take inventory of your achievements. Remembering your accomplishments over the years of your life and work can help boost your self-esteem and confidence. You will be reminded that if you can do something great in the past you can do it again today!

Ok, so you went bankrupt and you're writing a 'new business bio' for your business coach?
That is insane!
Dear Anonymous,
Oh yeah! It does sound wild!
Check out this list of famous people who went through bankruptcy and went on to greater achievements:
