Tip#612: Be Open for Magical Alignments – 12:12:12 – 4 Holiday Movie Tips

Today's date is December 12, 2012 or 12:12:12. There is something magical about this set of numbers and it will never happen again in our lifetime. Plus this blog tip is #612 so I feel extra magic about the date! These numeral alignments makes me think of Christmas movies where storylines and characters magically align and intersect. Here are 4 films to inspire magical alignments in your life today and during the holidays…

Love Actually (2003)
This romantic comedy follows the lives of eight very different couples dealing with their love lives as they approach Christmas. The star-studded cast includes Hugh Grant, Colin Firth, Emma Thompson and Keira Knightley in stories that wonderfully intertwine into a rousing conclusion.

Noel (2004)
This drama is about five strangers in New York City all seeking a miracle on Christmas Eve. Starring Susan Sarandon, Alan Arkin, Penelope Cruz and Robin Williams in stories that somehow align so that the help they wish for arrives in unexpected ways.

The Family Stone (2005)
This comedy drama is about an uptight, conservative, businesswoman who nervously joins her boyfriend’s family for Christmas celebrations. Starring Sarah Jessica Parker, Dermot Mulroney, Claire Danes and Luke Wilson in a story where strangers are brought together and unexpectedly find true love and acceptance.

The Holiday (2006)
This romantic comedy is about two women who escape heartbreak during the holiday season by temporarily exchanging homes in London and Los Angeles. Starring Kate Winslet, Cameron Diaz, Jude Law and Jack Black, they show how the timing of two people’s needs leads to magical connections in new locations.

We all experience magical alignments of meeting people with answers we seek from time to time. We can also be the source of help for strangers we come across when they need it. Be open today and every day to the synchronicities, serendipities and coincidences that all line up to lead you to what you need or dream about. Magical alignments are always in the air as long as you believe it is!
