Serendipity: the occurrence and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way
Synchronicity: the simultaneous occurrence of events that appear significantly related but have no discernible causal connection
The term serendipity is like the term synchronicity. The meanings are similar and yet are more like partners in helping you achieve what you want. Your life can become an amazing adventure when you become open to the messages contained in random events, chance encounters and the "fortunate accidents" that come to you.
When it comes to movies I often feel I've been guided to watch a specific film containing a clue or message that'll help me deal with a current issue. Movies magically appear at times I feel stuck to provide answers for moving forward. The film title might be mentioned several times and then someone else might just drop the dvd into my hands!
These events are so profound and constant in my life that I felt truly guided to create this blog. I wanted to share my stories and inspire others about the power of synchronicity and the magic of serendipity.
Serendipity (2001)
The romantic comedy, Serendipity, explores the magic of chance meetings between two people at Christmas and later over many years. "A fortunate accident" is how Kate Beckinsale's character describes serendipity, her favourite word. For years I'd been recommended to see Serendipity
"It's such a nice sounding word for what it means: a fortunate accident. "
As shown in the movie, our daily lives are filled with fortunate accidents that lead to goals or relationships we’ve been wanting. It could be a billboard or poster you see that tweaks your interest or a series of unrelated persons you encounter making the same recommendation or reference to something.
Maybe it's the name of a book or website for you to check out. Perhaps it's the same movie recommended more than once to you. Somewhere inside you a little light flashes, signaling your attention and asking you to act on these messages.
Take Action
Serendipity
So look with new eyes for the clues and signs that come your way each day. Learn to recognize repeating patterns and act on them as fast as you can. Let the magic of serendipity inspire you to stay open to the "fortunate accidents" in your life!

I no longer believe in the "random or chance" occurrence. Such a description is usually given to events "that we happen to take notice of" and that seem to come "out of the blue". Events are not by chance but happen for a reason. The reason may never be clear but nevertheless there is a reason.
People generally do not take notice of such events and if they do accept them as "chance" and usually do not give them a second thought. Such events can lead to astounding changes in one's attitude, outlook and/or perspective.
Keep encouraging people to focus their attention on what is happening around them. Most people, do not observe what is happening around them because they are usually so focused on a single goal: a specific job in a specific industry. What they are really ooking for may not even be where they are focusing their attention.
Have a good day!
