Resilience resources for inspiration can come in the form of movie heroes that defy seemingly impossible odds. And then there are actors like Tom Cruise that are so dedicated to providing the best cinematic experience possible that they perform their own stunts. I am still in awe of his scene hanging onto the outside of an airplane as it takes off in Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation!
Cruise also did his own climbing of the Burj Khalifa tower in Dubai for the previous film Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol. Just incredible scenes to see! And even though Cruise gets injured filming his scenes he keeps bouncing back to give the audience even more exciting, memorable movie moments! See: behind the scenes in Dubai
Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation (2015)
The action spy film, Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation, is the fifth instalment in the series where IMF agent Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) relentlessly pursues his investigation of the existence of a destructive criminal group called the Syndicate. What follows is an incredible ride filled with eye-popping stunts and thrilling performances by Cruise and agent femme fatale Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson). See: movie trailer
In addition to the amazing stunts, Ethan demonstrates indestructible optimism and inspiring resilience especially in his outstanding problem solving/strategic thinking abilities. And a fantastic bonus is having Ilsa be a female agent that matches Ethan’s skills and abilities. Together they make this a standout chapter in the film series and a highly recommended resource for exciting entertainment and inspiration!
