Recently I have been rewriting and re-editing my first book based on my movie blog AND re-vamping my Motivatorman website and it has been a thrill! Through many motivating factors I have been extremely clear-headed, focused and keen on what I need to do! In fact, friends, colleagues and clients have been asking to re-edit their resume, blog content or promo material to add more clarity and sizzle!
This all relates to a movie I was drawn to seeing that re-writes its genre. At first the trailer for The Cabin in the Woods looks like a standard slasher/horror flick so I had no interest in seeing. I was finally stoked to see the movie only after film critics were enthusiastic about how unique it was with one reviewer actually saying to see the movie BEFORE reading his review! So that's what I did.
Cabin in the Woods (2012)
The movie The Cabin in the Woods is about five friends who go to a remote and mysterious cabin in the woods…
That's all I am going to say! If you want to experience what I mean about rewriting a genre, in this case, horror films then I HIGHLY recommend you see this movie without reading any reviews. If you love horror movies and you can handle some cinematic blood and guts then you are in for a unique ride. And you may gain insights on rewriting your own life or career and take it to a whole new level!
Seeking a more meaningful life or career means you must re-edit the script of your path. If you are unhappy with how things are remember that you have the power to make positive changes. You can rewrite how things are! Be bold and cut out what is not working in your life today.
